How do I log my meals?
Tap the Nutrition card on the Home screen to open Meal Log. Search for any food, select your serving size, and tap Add. You can also use AI Food Scan (Pro) to photograph a meal and have it recognized automatically.
How do I manually update my calories or protein?
Tap the progress rings on the Home screen to open Log Today. You can manually set your calories, protein, sleep hours, and workout status from there.
What's included in the Pro subscription?
Pro unlocks: AI Daily Coach, AI Trainer Chat (20 messages/day), AI Food Scan (3 scans/day), Meal Swap suggestions, Custom Workout Plans, Weekly Summary, Pattern Insights, and Goal Recalibration.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?
Go to Settings → Account → Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored on any device signed in with the same account.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Gem Coach → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
My data isn't syncing between devices. What should I do?
Make sure you're signed in with the same account on both devices (not as a guest). Your data syncs automatically via Firebase whenever the app is open and connected to the internet.
How do I update my body stats or calorie targets?
Go to the Profile tab and tap the pencil (edit) icon in the top right corner. You can update your age, height, weight, goal, activity level, and all daily targets from there.
Can I use Gem Coach without creating an account?
An account is required to save and sync your data. You can sign up with your email, Apple ID, or Google account — all are free and take less than a minute.
Why does the AI Food Scan require a camera permission?
The AI Food Scan feature uses your camera to photograph meals so our AI can identify the food and estimate macros. This permission is only requested when you tap the AI Food Scan button and is never used in the background.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at salman4gems@gmail.com with subject "Delete My Account" and we will permanently delete all your data within 30 days.
